Valentine’s Day
Things have been very slow at work lately, so I took a vacation day today. Also we got a few inches of snow and ice yesterday, and I thought it was a good idea to just enjoy the day at home. Anyway, a gal from the office called this morning to say that I had received a lovely gift. I put on my socks and shoes and went downtown.
They should have been delivered tomorrow, but the florist said that they had too many deliveries and that they had to deliver some things today. I’ve already eaten a couple of the chocolates that came with the flowers. They are indeed yummy. I should take the day off more often!
